John Harrison (aged 104) is an ex-Ordnance Artificer and has been invited to attend this event. He joined up as a Direct Entry in 1938 and served on HMS Belfast during WW2.

Dinner Menu now available

The dinner menu has been finalized with the the caterers, Seasoned. An alternative starter and main course for vegetarians has been provided and non-alcoholic drinks will be made available on the tables as required.

All available tickets have now been sold. We have created a reserve list for those who want to purchase tickets that will only become available in the event of cancellations.

After our visit to the caterers and to Guildhall on Tuesday 8th August, it was agreed that we can fit in a small number of extra people into the event. So the allocation of tickets has been increased to 650. This will be the final increase in numbers due to the maximum capacity and safety at the venue.
Do not leave it too late to buy your ticket as it is the only way to avoid disappointment. Remember that being on the Expressions of Interest list is not a guarantee that you will get a ticket..
We will be posting the menu sometime in September with pictures, then we will start on the table placements and the seating allocation. These will then be displayed on the website once all the tickets have been sold.

We have now sold all of the original number of tickets offered for sale. However, as we have increased the number to a maximum of 600 there are still some available to buy. Please do not leave it too late to buy yours and avoid disappointment. The only way to be certain is to purchase via the ticketing website.
Extra Tickets now available

Due to the unprecedented demand for tickets (471 sold so far), the Art150 Team have managed to secure an extra 100 places for the gala dinner, bringing the total to 600. This is an absolute limit as it will fill Guildhall to capacity. So please do not leave it too late to buy yours and avoid disappointment.
Please be reminded that being on the Expressions of Interest List is not a guarantee that you will get a ticket. The only way to be certain is to purchase via the ticketing website.

We have now sold 75% of the available tickets in the 10 weeks since they went on sale. Please do not leave it too late to buy yours and avoid disappointment. There is a significant number of people have bought tickets without expressing an interest first but who been encouraged by word of mouth. Being on the Expressions of Interest List is not a guarantee that you will get a ticket. The only way to be certain is to purchase via the ticketing website.

Vice Admiral Simon Lister CB OBE has accepted our invitation to be the principal naval guest of honour. He is currently Chief Naval Engineer Officer and Chief of Materiel (Fleet) and was formally a Marine Engineering Officer on several submarines.
Royal Marine Band confirmed

The world famous Royal Marine Band Quartet has been booked to play during dinner.
Also, the silverware at the table will be courtesy of the RN Trophy Centre Portsmouth.
